is counselling?
Unlike
life coaching which is “what” and “how”
focussed ie “what do I want” and “how will I achieve
it”, counselling is more “why” focussed”.

The
goal of counselling is to assist people by:-
-
identifying why they have developed negative beliefs or behaviours;

developing strategies that enable them to deal with past issues
and in doing so move away from emotional distress;
- overcoming
unwanted symptoms and reestablishing a healthier emotional state.
